THE DARK RAGS
Οι Dark Rags είναι ένα Garage/Punk rock ‘n’ roll συγκρότημα από την Αθήνα, το οποίο σχηματίστηκε τον Μάιο του 2010, έχοντας κυκλοφορήσει ένα EP, ένα single και δυο LPs που τους έχουν αναδείξει ώς ένα από τα καλύτερα σχήματα του είδους τους. Οι μουσικές τους επιρροές εκτείνονται από το garage/punk των 60’s και το Νέο-Υορκέζικο punk Rock ‘N’ Roll των 70’s έως τη σκηνή της garage αναβίωσης της Αυστραλίας της δεκαετίας του 80 καθώς και τα σύγχρονα συγκροτήματα του είδους. Οι Dark Rags κάνουν αυτό που ξέρουν καλά, να παίζουν απλό και straight forward rock’n’roll. Τον Δεκέμβριο του 2014 οι Dark Rags κυκλοφορήσανε το 2ο τους LP “Paranoia Blues” στην Γαλλική Closer Records και για την προώθηση του παιξανε πολλές συναυλίες στην Αθήνα αλλα και στην επαρχία είτε μόνοι τους είτε με άλλα συγκροτημάτα όπως οι Last Drive, Vibrators, Ex Hex κτλ. Μια απο τις πιο δραστήριες μπάντες της σκηνής, οι oι Dark Rags έχουν επίσης κυκλοφορήσει το Drunken Angel EP (2010), ένα ομότιτλο album (S/T – 2011) και ένα single (Underground – 2012). Στα άμεσα σχέδια της μπάντας είναι η ηχογράφηση κομματιών για την κυκλοφορία ενός νέου EP.

THE CYCLOTHYMICS
Οι Cyclothymics ξεκινήσανε ως τρίο το καλοκαίρι του 2014 αφότου συναντηθήκαν ξανά στην γη έπειτα από ολόκληρα 14 χρόνια από την πρώτη γνωριμία τους μετά από διαγαλαξιακά ταξίδια και διάφορες γήινες περιπέτειες!! Ο Άλεξ A. (τύμπανα, ex-7 Odds) και ο Πέτρος M. (Μπάσο-Φωνή, ex-Κωμωδία Θανάτου εκείνη την περίοδο), πίνωντας τον πρώτο γήινο καφέ στα εξάρχεια, μεταξύ άλλων, εξέφρασαν την επιθυμία τους να παίξουνε μουσική σε κάτι πιο υβριδικό κι ελεύθερο rock’n’roll, έτσι παρέα με τον Jim Roumo (κιθάρα) ξεκινήσανε τα jam και τα διάφορα ακολούθησαν… Ήταν προκαθορισμένο πως η Ίριδα θα μπει σε ρόλο πλήκτρων όταν τελειώσει με τις διάφορες δουλειές, όταν γυρίσει από τις τότε διακοπές διαρκείας της, σε κάποια απομωνομένη τροπική παραλία. Στην πορεία ο Jim R. μετά από το πρώτο live τους (ένα tribute στους Ramones), αποχώρησε και υποδεχτήκανε τον Μάριο στην κιθάρα, όπου όλοι μάζι κάναμε άλλες 2 ζωντανές εμφανίσεις στο Ίδρυμα 2.14 ως support στους Αμερικάνους Nature Boys & Lecherous Gaze!! Αυτή την περίοδο ξεκινήσαν να ηχογραφούν την πρώτη δισκογραφική δουλειά τους, ξαναδραστηριοποιούνται με ζωντανές εμφανίσεις και με ανυπομονησία περιμένουνε το φεστιβάλ του label Rumble Skunk, όπου θα παρευρεθούνε παρέα με τους Blue Night Trip, The Dead Dranks και The Dark Rags τον Ιανουάριο στο An club! Τα υπόλοιπα σύντομα κι από κοντά…

THE DEAD DRANKS
The Dead Dranks are a band located in Athens, Greece. They were formed and started playing as a trio in 2005. After some changes they have ended up in a 4-piece combo! The Dead Dranks were initially inspired by high energy rock ‘n’ roll & bands like The Ramones, The Stooges, Social Distortion, Wipers etc. but their sound is influenced by a combination of rock’n’roll genres like 60’s garage punk, punk rock, Australian rock scene, post-punk scene and anything from music history that can speak to their hearts. Several shows have taken place at the most popular live clubs of Athens and they have participated in many events around the city of Athens. They have also shared the stage with many great Greek bands like The Last Drive, Arnakia, Panx Romana etc. The greatest moment for the band was when they opened for the punk rock legends, The Buzzcocks!!! During all these years the Dead Dranks have recorded several demos and in 2013 they entered the studio to record their debut album. The recordings of the album are finished months ago & their 1st full-length is out, released via their own label!

BLUE NIGHT TRIP
Οι Blue Night Trip είναι μια rock’n’roll μπάντα που σχηματίστηκε στην Αθήνα τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2013 από τέσσερις φίλους που είχανε παίξει σε διάφορα σχήματα, όπως The Psykicks, The B-Sides, The Tipsies, The Lizardz , The Ducky Boyz. Έχουν εμφανιστεί live σε διάφορους χώρους όπως το After Dark, το Tiki Bar, σε festival όπως το Indie Free καθώς και σε διάφορα κοινωνικοπολιτικά στέκια και πάρκα. Τον Σεπτέμβρη του 2015 ο Billy έφυγε απο την μπάντα και στη θέση του ήρθε ο Ske (Toxica Apovlita, The Tipsies).

RUMBLE SKUNK RECORDS
Rumble Skunk started like a fanzine years ago… Only two-of-a-kind issues saw the light of day!?! Times they’re a changin’ & now Rumble Skunk Records is a cool rock’n’roll label, founded in 2012 by Spiros & Elissavet!!! Our first vinyl release from the land of OZ was Lords Of Gravity – ”The Curse Of Icarus” LP, and we have plans to put out another release soon or late?! Time will tell…?! Rumble Skunk will be behind the deckz presenting the hot stuff, sure a garage punk-trashed-fuzzed-rock’n’roll set that will blow your mind! Stay tuned & cheers!!!
