Drunk Jackals , Limpin Express & οι Sum Guys συναντιουνται στο AN για ενα δυνατο live !

Οι Drunk Jackals σχηματίστηκαν το Φεβρουάριο του 2015 στην έρημο της Κορίνθου.
Με την αγάπη για το αμερικανικό και βρετανικό ροκ των 60’s και 70’s να τους ενώνει αποφάσισαν το ύφος τους να κινηθεί σε ανάλογα μονοπάτια. Έκτοτε αφιέρωσαν διάθεση, ενέργεια και χρόνο σε πρόβες, ηχογραφήσεις και συναυλίες σε διάφορες πόλεις της Ελλάδας. Στα μελλοντικά τους σχέδια είναι η ηχογράφηση και η κυκλοφορία του πρώτου τους δίσκου μέσα στο 2017 και ακόμα περισσότερες συναυλίες.
Την μπάντα συνθέτουν ο Τεό στα φωνητικά, ο Leslie στην κιθάρα, ο Πολωνός στο μπάσο και ο Πανάγος στα τύμπανα.
Είχαν την τύχη να μοιραστούν τη σκηνή με διάφορες μπάντες όπως οι Screaming Dead Balloons, Mr. Highway Band, 1000mods, Wish Upon A Star, Deaf Radio, Mode Plagal, Ganzi Gun, Sum Guys, Duoyu, Salto Mortale, ΚΡΑΑΚ και να παίξουν σε διάφορα φεστιβάλ και συναυλιακούς χώρους σε όλη την Ελλάδα όπως το Tris & o Cookos Festival, το Ziria Festival, το Livadoura Rock Festival, το SIX D.O.G.S., το Ghost House, η Αρχιτεκτονική, η Rock Sinantisi Kiatou, το Μπη Σάιντ, το Artichoke και άλλα σε Κόρινθο, Πάτρα, Αθήνα, Χανιά.

Limpin Express is a rock & blues trio from Athens, Greece, which was formed on September 2011 by three young but experienced musicians. Each member has been playing professionally since their early twenties around 2004-05 and have collaborated, or been a member of the country’s top music acts.
Throughout the years, as members of the “Express” or in bands before that, they’ ve appeared in almost every live club in the country and also in festivals around Europe (Vinilius Jazz Festival 2008- Lithuania, Blue Bash Festival 2006-UK) but a time comes when one thinks it’ s time to stop being the sideman and create something yours instead.
At first, some gigs were booked and along came the people’ s growing interest for their shows. They had (and still do have) a tendency to alter standard songs and jam others. That was led by a need to be innovative. When they started playing their own songs at their gigs, people attending them, were even more interested in the trio’ s music.
They started forming the material for their first album and recorded their acoustic set, on July 2012 and in November 2nd of the same year they got in the studio again to record the rest of the songs and finish the album.
Their debut album consists of ten original tracks ranging from acoustic blues, with a groovy twist, to almost late ‘60s-early ‘70s hard rock styled songs and thus making it a bit more than just another strictly rock or blues album.
Michael Dotson (sideman guitarist & singer for Willie Kent, Big Jack Johnson, Billy Boy Arnold and Homesick James to name a few) “lends” one of his songs to the guys (Travelling Blues) and also takes part in the recording, playing guitar and singing.
The whole concept was to capture the energy and feel of a band that’s really meant to be a live act. That’s the main reason why it was recorded mostly live.

Μερικοί άνθρωποι παίζουν ποδόσφαιρο, άλλοι videogames, ε και μετά είναι κι οι Sum Guys που παίζουν garage και αποτελούνται από έναν drummer, που ενίοτε τραγουδάει, έναν μπασίστα -χαμένο μέλος των Motley Crue- κι έναν κιθαρίστα/τραγουδιστή που σιχαίνεται τους χίπηδες και λατρεύει το αμερικάνικο punk. Στο stage του AN λοιπον 19 Νοεμβρίου θα πάρουν για λίγο τους εαυτούς τους στα σοβαρά για να παρουσιάσουν τα κομμάτια απο το EP τους και να διασκευάσουν τα κομμάτια που τους διασκεδάζουν.
